Operational Notes

  • Sterilize temperature ≤ 135°C (Improved type ≤ 155°C). Exceeding this limits may damage the motor.
  • Normal bone drills only support bits under 6mm. Acetabulum reaming drill holds big torque with around 300 rpm. Canulated drill runs around 600 rpm.
  • Batteries must be removed from the power tool after surgery. Otherwise, minimal automatic discharge will shorten battery life.
  • The battery cannot be sterilized and is not autoclavable.
  • Wash cranial burs immediately post-surgery to avoid blood sticking, then dry immediately.
  • Ensure the battery compartment inside the handpiece remains completely dry after sterilization.

A: The standard sterilization temperature must not exceed 135 °C. For the improved type, it can handle up to 155 °C. Exceeding these temperatures will damage the brushless motor.
Q2: Can the battery pack be sterilized in an autoclave?
A: No. The battery cannot be sterilized and is not autoclavable. Please ensure the battery is taken out before sterilizing the handpiece.
Q3: How long is the warranty coverage for this surgical power tool?
A: We provide a 2-year warranty for the main handpiece structure and the motor. Fast-consumable items and batteries are covered under a 3-month warranty.
Q4: How should the battery be managed between surgeries?
A: The battery must be removed from the handpiece immediately after the surgical procedure. Leaving the battery inside the tool causes automatic micro-discharge, which significantly shortens its service life.
Q5: What are the speed and torque specs for the key chuck and reaming attachments?
A: The Key Chuck attachment operates within 0-1200 rpm with a torque of 3.5NM, whereas the Reaming Attachment operates within 0-400 rpm with a stronger torque capacity of 10NM.
Q6: How should the cleaning and maintenance of the attachment be performed?
A: For attachments like the cranial bur, they must be washed with a purger immediately after surgery to prevent blood from drying inside, followed by a complete dry. Ensure no moisture remains in the handpiece's battery channel after sterilization.
